This is a ball winder. The very one that one of the ladies at Main Street Yarn and Fiber in Watkinsville, GA gave to me. It doesn't look like much, but this has saved me from a wrist injury because of the yearly cleaning of the yarn stash. That is a separate posting because of other discussions.
